FAQs referring registration

Why do I need to register?

LMC Vienna is a non-profit association and HARD ON is its club location. For legal reasons we can only allow registered members to our regularly events at HARD ON. Therefore you need to register as a (temporary) member of LMC Vienna in advance of visiting HARD ON. Registration is open for every male interested in fetish and there are no further commitments related to the (temporary) membership.

Can I come to HARD ON without being registered?

No. If not stated otherwise for single special offers (like HIV tests) you need to be a registered member.

Do I need to register for every single visit?

No. A one-time registration is sufficient.

Into which commitments do I enter registering?

There are no commitments for “trial members” (as well as for “international members”). Your membership ends after one year (or two weeks for “international members”). You pay a membership fee in small amounts of EUR 6,50 each calendar week (Mon-Sun) you visit us. (There might be additional fees for special events like Vienna Fetish Spring or Vienna in Black). As a “standard member” you pay a membership fee of EUR 115,- a year and you have free access to all our events as far as you meet other conditions (like dress code). “Active membership” is only open for German-speakers because “active members” need to volunteer instead of paying a membership fee.

What do I need for registration?

You need to provide a name, a photo (where your face is cognizable) and a valid e-mail-address. If you do not have a digital photo and you come from abroad, you can register without a photo as an “international member”. This membership is valid for ten days and you need to bring an ID each visit to HARD ON. Please make sure the name you provide matches the name in your ID.

What happens with my data? Are my data secure?

We do not hand on your data to anyone else. Authorities don’t have access to it. Even our members serving you at the entrance only see what they need to see to check your membership. Registration itself is handled over secured connection (SSL – see the “https” and the keylock symbol).

Why do I need a photo?

We want to prevent the need of checking IDs or other documents. A photo is the easiest and quickest procedure to check if the person who wants to check in is the person who registered.

Why do I need to provide an email-address?

During the registration process we send you an email with a validation link. Therefore you need a valid email-address.

Do I need to provide my real name?

You are kindly asked to provide your real name. Anyway, if you register with a photo, we only check the photo at the entrance.

I’m coming from abroad and only want to take part in a single event or only in a few events?

The easiest way is to register as a trial member. If you do not have a digital photo and you come from abroad, you can register without a photo as an “international member”. This membership is valid for ten days and you need to bring an ID each visit to HARD ON. Please make sure the name you provide matches the name in your ID. ECMC members can visit HARD ON with their valid ECMC member card. (If possible also ECMC members are asked to register. You help us to simplify your check in at the entrance.)

I do not have an email-address?

There are several providers of free e-mail services. If you are not sure, ask a friend for help.

Can I also register directly at HARD ON?

No.

How long does the issuing of my membership card take?

Directly after your registration is confirmed you can print an interim member card. A permanent member card can be issued later depending on the chosen membership.

If I choose “standard membership”: When does the right of free access start?

If you pay your annual membership fee directly after registration with your credit card or via Paypal you get immediate free access, otherwise as soon as your fee is booked to our bank account. Until then you are treated like a trial member. Please note that we cannot  credit paid rates for trial membership against your annual fee.

What happens if I forget my card?

You are kindly requested to have your card with you each visit at HARD ON. We have to check the membership of every single visitor and with your card this takes only a few seconds. Anyway, if you don’t have your card with you, we can find you under the name you registered with.
